American History Honors: 1850s Primary Source Assignment

Your assignment is to read a series of primary sources from the 1850s that build the case that a conflict between the northern and southern states was inevitable.

Follow the instructions carefully for completing this assignment.

2. Click Start Activity

3. READ each document, read the questions that follow the documents and place the answers in the blank boxes that follow the questions. Helpful Hints:

· You must read each document in its entirety. They are subject to appear on your unit test.

· Place your answer to the questions that follow the documents in the empty box with a question mark. When you click on the question mark, a blank textbook will appear for you to enter your response. Be sure to hit save and close when you are done.

4. When finished, click I’m Done in the top left corner.

5. Read the final concluding question.

6. In the field to the right, enter the following:
